Questions parents ask

What is Jellyloom?

Jellyloom is a 3D squishy toy app for kids, made by Halo Dot. Kids squeeze, stretch and swirl dumpling-shaped squishy friends, unbox new friends from 6 families, decorate them with 86 tiny add-ins and walk them down the runway in 12 fashion shows.

Is Jellyloom safe for kids?

Yes. Jellyloom has no ads, no chat, no accounts and no links out of the app without a grown-up check. It collects no personal data at all, and everything your child makes stays on your device.

Does Jellyloom have ads or in-app purchases?

There are no ads. There is one optional in-app purchase: a one-time unlock ($7.99 in the US) that adds 5 more families, the Make studio, all 86 add-ins and all 12 shows. There are no subscriptions, coins or paid mystery boxes.

Can my child talk to other people in Jellyloom?

No. There is no chat, no comments and no friend lists. The fashion show judges and other contestants are characters in the app.

Does Jellyloom need the internet?

No. Jellyloom plays fully offline. It only goes online when a grown-up buys or restores the unlock through the App Store or Google Play.

How do kids play without instructions?

With their fingers. Hold one finger to squeeze, pull two fingers apart to stretch, twist two fingers to swirl and tap twice to blow a bubble. Little animated hints show the next move to try.

Can my family share the unlock?

Yes, on iPhone and iPad the unlock supports Family Sharing, and Restore purchases brings it back on a new device.

When does Jellyloom come out?

Jellyloom is coming soon to iPhone, iPad and Android. This site will link to the App Store and Google Play as soon as it is live.
